Since moving to the new IPA Haus in September 2010, many locals and even folks from out of town still don’t know where
the IPA has relocated to.
Well they have moved to a new building called the IPA Haus which is conveniently located on
Miridubu Munidubu Street, at the corner of Champion Parade and Lawes Road, in Konedobu, National Capital District. The IPA Haus is owned by
Nasfund; a major super fund in PNG.
This now means that all the divisions within the IPA are located conveniently under one roof. Ample parking space is available at the new location too. Plus for security reasons the IPA has also adopted a
cashless policy since moving into the IPA Haus. To facilitate this the IPA has installed ETPOS machines at the public counter for receipting of lodgments.
In addition the IPA now also accepts lodgments fee made through direct bank deposits or telegraphic transfers into any of the three major banks in PNG which include Bank of South Pacific Ltd, Westpac (PNG) Ltd & ANZ Banking Group (PNG) Ltd. The IPA have also come up with a deposit form similar to the school fee deposit forms which some of you are familiar with in PNG. Ask your bank today for an IPA deposit form to pay your lodgment fees through your bank. If they don’t have it you can still deposit your lodgment fees into the IPA account. The banks are now fully aware of this arrangement and should help you out even if you don’t know the IPA account number.
On another positive note the IPA has recently secured a premises in the city of Kokopo in the East New Britain Province for the establishment of an
IPA Islands Regional Office to cater for the growing number of business queries and lodgments coming from that part of the country. Hopefully, it should be operational in the next couple of weeks. I will keep you posted on this in
a future post.
Until then you have a pleasant week.
