The Investment Promotion Authority wishes to advise its valued clients and the general public that as a security measure, it will no longer accept cash payments at its new office located at IPA Haus, Lawes Road, Konedobu.
IPA will only accept payments via:
- Bank Cheque;
- Direct Deposit using deposit slips;
- Local Debit Card (bank cards); and
- Credit or Master Cards.
To assist cashless lodgment facilities at IPA, it has introduced the following:
- EFTPOS facilities to be installed at the Front Counter on the ground floor; and
- A new IPA fee deposit slip customized to its requirements, available at all banks and at the IPA Haus.
The IPA fee deposit slip can be deposited at any bank in the country. The deposit slip includes the following information for ease of referral and follow up purposes:
- A description of the forms/documents and their fees;
- A general description of fees payable to IPA at the back of the slip;
- The IPA Westpac Account Number; and
- Four (4) receipt copies which are color coded as follows:
- White (original) to be retained by the Bank;
- Blue – copy for Bank Transfer purposes (bank’s internal use);
- Pink – a copy for IPA; and
- Yellow – copy for the payee
The pink IPA copy must be attached to your forms/documents for lodgment with IPA as evidence of the fees paid into the IPA account. For your convenience, it is important that you contact IPA to re-confirm your lodgment details of forms and their applicable fees before you complete the deposit slip for payments at any bank as IPA will not accept:
- Lodgments without a pink receipt where fees are applicable;
- Lodgments with insufficient or excess fees;
- Requests for refund or transfer of access fees for new lodgments.
IMPORTANT NOTE
In the event that the IPA fee deposit slips are not available at the banks, IPA will advice that the normal bank deposit slips can be used to pay the respective fees. IPA reminds you that correct amount of fees must be paid to avoid rejection of lodgments at the IPA front counters. If in doubt, clients must contact the IPA to reconfirm the correct lodgment fees. “Pre deposit forms” are also available at the IPA to be completed by the client for ease of referral and follow up for the above purpose.
